On the heels of my 100 Things To Do In the Fall, I thought I would also do a list for the Winter and probably for the other two seasons. I've loved every minute of Fall this year. The weather was slightly milder to begin with so we were able to enjoy most of it outside. So without further ado, my list of 100 Things To Do In the Winter. Do you have anything to add to the list? Search for the perfect Christmas tree in the forest. Admire it and leave it there to grow.
Enjoy some good old fashioned hot cocoa in your favorite mug.
Watch the snow fall. If you are inclined, record it in slow motion.

Have a cozy dinner at home with friends.

Have a champagne party to celebrate the New Year. Recycle the bottles.
Check out a hot tub or hot spring spa.
Do a chocolate and cheese tasting. Support local businesses.
Build and sit around a campfire.
Make s'mores for your campfire.
Have a snowball fight.
Attend a tree lighting or a winter festival.
Build a snowman.
Head out for a Jazz night. Dress in sparkly thrifted clothes.
Write your version of "The Story of Us." For you, for your children.
Attend a holiday or winter festival.
Buy someone coffee and have coffee with them.
Head to the beach when it's snowing.
Learn Hygge.
Sit in and read some new books.
Make homemade candles with your favorite winter scents.
Head to Vermont. Go hiking or snowboarding or apple cider tasting or cheese tasting.
Make those snowangels.
Remember your childhood. Make a grilled cheese sandwich with homemade tomato soup.
Make a big batch of chili.
Find a pine forest and breathe the wonderful, natural smell.
Get decluttering for the New Year. Best way to welcome something new is to make space.
Volunteer at a soup kitchen.
Volunteer to pick up garbage.
Volunteer to help a neighbor or friend during a snowstorm.
Walk around your neighborhood and check out the holiday lights.
Throw a Super Bowl party using these zero waste snacks.
Make your own beer using a beer kit.
Make paper snowflakes using recycled paper.
Practice cold showers and join a Polar Bear swim.
Gather pine cones and use them as decorations.
Setup a make shift tent indoors and play.
Learn to crochet a winter hat or scarf. Grab some yarn at the thrift store.
Check out the holiday display windows.
Declutter and donate toys.
Visit local museums.
Hunt for the best hot cocoa in your town. Do a taste test panel with the kids. Bring your reusables of course.
