The Do Something Project
About
The Do Something Project is dedicated to a well lived life full of adventure and good health by following the tenets of minimalism and eco-friendly living. We are only on this planet for a limited amount of time. Let's cultivate those relationships, explore faraway places, live our best selves and leave the environment better for the next generation. Let's Do Something because even the smallest change makes a big impact!
FOUNDER
Hi there! My name is Catherine Agopcan or Cat. I grew up in the Philippines and immigrated to the US when I was 9 years old. I've been a Jersey girl ever since. I spent many years working in the IT and adtech industry working with some major companies in New York City to improve products and processes. Earlier this year, I decided to take a break from the 9 to 6 to pursue a few things on my bucket list. One of them was starting this site. I wanted to document and create and this is the result. I've always loved the hands-on approach to learning which is why you'll always find me doing something.
I hope this site inspires you to take some action for yourself, whether that's exploring a new place, trying a new food or doing something to help the planet.
I'd love to hear from you. Leave a comment AND follow me on social media!

Other Projects
I'm also very passionate about personal finances and educating women about it. I believe that our consumption affects our bottom line in more ways than one. I also believe that retirement doesn't have to wait until we are 65, but when we have the income to do so.
