Learn: Costco Shopping List - Whole30 and Zero Waste Compliant
I've convinced my sister to do whole30 with me. It will be her first time so I've rounded up some resources to make this easier. Since she still lives at home with my parents and my parents manage the grocery shopping, I've created a few shopping lists and recipe lists to make this transition easier. I've already provided her the two main resources: " It Starts with Food" and "Whole30" to read for the week before we begin. Her start date will be May 23, 2016. I'll be visiting my parents the weekend before to remove non-compliant foods and help them with some shopping.
First up is a shopping list for Costco that is also zero waste compliant (stored in recyclable containers.) In addition, you can find the same shopping list with additional items that are not zero waste compliant below. If I left out any, feel free to let me know. Items that I know are in recyclable container are in the zero waste list. Items in thin plastic clam shells or some sort of plastic packaging are not as I am not sure all recycle centers process these kinds of plastics.
You can find the Trader Joe's Shopping List here.
